基於第三代測序(TGS)技術生成的超長序列,研究團隊開發了一個生物資訊方法:NCLscan-hybrid,能有效地辨別分子間剪接與環狀RNA,並設計多重實驗步驟探究分子間剪接RNA的生成以及在乳癌細胞的調控功能。

On the basis of ultra-long reads generated from Third Generation Sequencing (TGS) technologies, we developed a bioinformatics method, NCLscan-hybrid, to effectively distinguish between trans-spliced and circular RNAs. Multiple experimental validation steps were designed to investigate the biogenesis and regulatory role of trans-spliced RNAs in breast cancer cells.
